✨ Red, White & Creative: Four New Projects Featuring Scrappy Boy Stamps

Today I’m sharing four projects that I have been working on. Three of these projects feature products from the newest May Release from Scrappy Boy Stamps, and I squeezed in an extra project from last month’s release that I never had the opportunity to share here on the blog.

Before jumping into the crafty inspiration, I also want to take a moment to recognize the true meaning of Memorial Day here in the United States — honoring and remembering the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country. ❤️🤍💙

This post is filled with colorful inspiration, additional project photos, and the Copic color combinations I used for each project.

👑 Dragon Kingdom Fantasy Card

This fantasy-inspired card may be one of my favorites from the new release! I paired the Throne of Legends Background Stamp with the adorable image from the Dragon Kingdom Stamp Set to create a glowing magical throne room scene.

I really wanted the lighting to feel dramatic and fiery, so I used intense oranges, yellows, and jewel tones around the throne while keeping the character soft and whimsical.

The sparkle details and glowing flames add so much depth in person!

🍿 Popcorn Treat Box

For this playful project, I used the Popcorn Box Add-On Backpack Set as a standalone treat holder instead of pairing it with the backpack base die. I absolutely love stretching products beyond their original intended use!

The patriotic-inspired color palette felt perfect for today’s Memorial Day themed post, and the dimensional popcorn pieces make this project extra fun and interactive. Airbrushed Copic on kraft cardstock, followed up by pencils. My favorite white pencil is LUMINANCE 6901. It’s creamy and layers nicely over alcohol markers and can be opaque on kraft.

The oversized bow adds the perfect finishing touch.

🏥 Nurse Station Shenanigans Background Scene

As someone who works professionally in healthcare, this background stamp immediately caught my attention. The Nurse Station Shenanigans Background Stamp creates such a detailed and fun scene for healthcare appreciation cards, encouragement cards, or scrapbook layouts.

I decided to keep the colors soft and welcoming with calming aqua tones and warm wood accents throughout the design.

This stamp has so many tiny details that become even more fun once everything is colored up.

🎀 Cute Kitty Backpack Card Bonus Project

This final project is actually a bonus project from last month’s release that I never had the opportunity to feature on the blog. But once I saw all four projects together, the patriotic red, white, and blue color palette made this one feel perfect for Memorial Day weekend. these papers are taken from the coordinating 6 x 9 paper pack entitled Cute Kitty.

I love how playful and dimensional this backpack design turned out. The stitched details and layered die cuts really bring the entire project to life.

❤️ Final Thoughts

I hope these projects inspire you to spend a little creative time this weekend and maybe even experiment with some bold patriotic color palettes of your own.

Most importantly, I hope everyone takes a quiet moment this Memorial Day to remember and honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedoms.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and sharing a little crafty time with me!

Happy crafting,
