I wanted to let my crafty friends know that absence over the last one-and-a-half months has been due to being overwhelmed with work stuff. As you may not know, my real job is working for a local hospital and the COVID numbers have been increasing over the last several weeks. When our numbers started going down in June, and more people were getting vaccinated, I found myself working more hours to allow my team members to take vacations that they had not been able to plan due to the pandemic. Long work hours and the stress associated with the pandemic, I found I had lost my desire to create, as well as just not being able to find any time in my day to carft or update my blog. I want you all to know that I am okay and trying to make sure I balance my home and worklife to be able to relax more and plan intentional “me” time. I hope you are all doing well and making time for yourself, too. It is so important to our health and well being.
