Scrappy Boy Stamps Sneak Peek – Have A Mermazing Day!

It is sneak peek time over at Scrappy Boy Stamps and the latest release is entitled, “Mermazing.” The images are inspired by The Little Mermaid and the set contains a total of 17 stamps, including 6 sentiments, that you can use to make an endless amount of amazing projects. As always, Scrappy Boy Stamp sets have an optional coordinating die set. Another exciting thing about this month’s release is that Scrappy Boy is also introducing a coordinating paper pack (either 6×6 or slimline), as well as an underwater scene builder stencil, entitled, “Under the Sea Scene Builder.” The stamp set and coordinating add-ons will be available in the Scrappy Boy Stamps Store on RELEASE DAY, Thursday, December 16th. To purchase, please go to shopathomeevents.com/collections/scrappy-boy. We appreciate you taking a peek and supporting Scrappy Boy Stamps. Image is colored with COPIC Markers.

COPIC MARKER COMBOS:

Hair – BG02, C3, C5 and 100

Skin – E04, E11, E21, E00, R20 and E000

Mermaid Body/Fin -V01, V12, V15 & V17 – using dots of various sizes and alternating the colors.

Shell- FYG1, FRV1, RV19

Used white gel pen for added dimension, sparkle and detail.

I used die cuts from my stash to create layers for an underwater scene, as I did not have my hands on the underwater scene builder stencil yet. I also made this card before the paper pack was released, so used some mermaid scale patterned paper from Hobby Lobby and heavy white cardstock for the other elements and then colored them up with my COPICS to coordinate with the patterned paper. I also used some coordinating sparkly washi tape to give little pops of color behind the images.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Stay crafty and above all, make sure you have fun!
