Hello, crafty friends! Today, I’m excited to showcase a special card I created using the adorable Sliding By stamps from Pajama Crafters Stamps. This card doesn’t just feature these adorable penguin images, it’s interactive too, thanks to an action wobbler that adds a fun twist!
💖 The Layers: I love how layers can bring a card to life! I started with a snowy background, layering various patterns and textures to create depth and interest. You’ll see in the photos how each layer flows seamlessly into the next, giving the card a beautiful winter feel.
Used dimensional foam tape to adhere layers, but gives separation for added interest.
🎨 The Coloring: Coloring is where the magic happens! I used vibrant markers and some shading techniques to make the adorable penguins pop off the card. Each character has its own fun personality. I also chose a whimsical color palette for the trees. This was a fun combo to set the images apart from the kraft colored cardstock.
🎊 Interactive Fun with Action Wobblers: What’s better than a beautiful card? One that wiggles! An action wobbler adds an element of playfulness to my design. I’ve placed it behind one of the penguins, making it bounce every time you give it a gentle push. It brings an instant smile and makes the card even more special!

By strategically employing a triangular layout, I’ve created eye-catching cards that guide the viewer’s gaze, making for a delightful visual experience.

First off, let’s talk about color! For these three cards, I carefully selected a harmonious color palette that complements the Pajama Power Stamp Set and Puffer Stamp Set. 🖌️🎨 Using colors in tandem creates a cohesive look, allowing each element to stand out while still feeling like part of a unified design.
Triangular Design: A Guide for the Eye
One of the most intriguing aspects of my card-making process is my tendency to create designs that draw the viewer’s eye in a triangular motion across the card. 🌟 Why triangles, you ask?
Triangles are naturally pleasing to the eye and provide a sense of stability and balance. By creating a triangular arrangement with your card elements, you’re subtly guiding the viewer’s focus from one point to another across the design. This method proves particularly effective when I include embellishments or smaller images—partnering them in groups of three to enhance visual flow.
Tips for Creating a Triangular Layout
Start With a Focal Point: Begin with a central image or embellishment that catches the eye. This serves as the primary anchor for your design.
Arrange Supporting Elements: Use additional images or embellishments to create a triangular structure around your focal point. Position them so they form a triangle—this can be done vertically, horizontally, or even diagonally, depending on your design.
Consider Size and Shape: Balance is key! When working with smaller images or embellishments, grouping them in threes helps create a visual interest that leads the eye seamlessly around the card.
Add Color Strategically: Use your chosen color palette to unify your elements. Colors should complement and enhance each other, making the card more welcoming and visually appealing.
Bringing It All Together
Without a large focal point dominating the design, assembling your card in this triangular fashion allows for each element to shine while still feeling cohesive. My three card projects today demonstrate how this technique creates a friendly and balanced look that is easy on the eyes.

I am absolutely buzzing with excitement to share my latest creation with you all—a vibrant A2 sized card using the adorable “Bruno Bee Keeper” stamp set! This set is simply a delight, packed with charming bears, lovely flowers, and a host of other fun elements that bring a sweet touch to any project.
Card Details: For this card, I chose a sunny yellow honeycomb paper from the coordinating 6×6 pattern paper pack. It’s just as cute as it sounds, featuring 24 double-sided sheets that include the most delightful bee and honeycomb designs! 🐻🍯

This month, I’m thrilled to introduce & showcase the Champion in the Making stamp set, complemented beautifully by a coordinating stencil called, Legends Born. These, paired with the 6×6 paper pack, are ideal for creating personalized cards that any baseball fan will cherish!
Crafting Your Card
Here’s a simple guide to making your own baseball-themed greeting card:
Gather Your Materials: You’ll need the Champion in the Making stamp set, the Legends Born stencil, a variety of inks, and the Let’s Play Ball 6×6 paper pack. This pack boasts 48 double-sided sheets featuring 12 unique designs, so you’ll always have a great pattern to choose from! Very versatile, too!
Design Your Card: Start by selecting a few sheets from the Let’s Play Ball paper pack as your background. The vibrant patterns provide the perfect stage for your stamped images.
Stamp & Layer: Use the Champion in the Making stamp set to create your baseball motifs and sentiments. After stamping, use the Legends Born die set to cut out your images, and layer them on top of your patterned papers for an eye-catching look.
Assemble & Personalize: Once your card is layered, don’t forget to add a personal touch! Write a heartfelt message inside or include additional embellishments to make it truly unique.
Remove Stencil & Ink Blend Over White
Crafting as Stress Relief

Hand-stamped baseball cards are a wonderful way to express appreciation or share a thoughtful message with friends and family. With the Champion in the Making stamp set and Legends Born coordinating stencil, and 6×6 paper pack, you can create cards that are sure to hit a home run!

Happy Easter card featuring Stamp Anniething classic: For Peeps Sake
Dusting off old stamp sets always brings about a wave of creativity and nostalgia. With Easter fast approaching, I decided to take out an older stamp set from Stamp Anniething called “For Peeps Sake”. This set was released before the immensely popular Chibi line but still has the same cute and fun aesthetic that Stamp Anniething is known for.
I started by stamping the bunny in the grass, bunny holding Easter egg and basket, carrot, egg, flowerpot and chick from the set onto white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored them in with Copic markers, sticking to a soft pastel color palette to keep with the Easter theme. I also used a white gel pen to add some highlights and details to the images. I fussy cut the images and also removed the flowerpot from the flowers do I could embellish the sentiment a bit by popping flowers and sentiment up with double-sided foam tape.
For Peeps Sake by Stamp Anniething
For the background, I wanted to create a simple and whimsical scene. I used Distress Oxide inks in shades of blue and green to blend a sky and grass background, respectively. I also added some clouds using the clouds builder stencil by incorporating some white pigment ink. I used the grass builder stencil and ink blended in green on the bottom half of the card front. The background panel was cut from specialty paper called GEMINIO PAPER, a glossy paper that is not quite Yupo, but close. It stands up to dome fun ink and watercolor techniques and doesn’t warp or pill.
To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a strip of extra ink-blended Geminino paper and this will be adhered to the top left hand corner over a banner I made using the carrot stamp and coloring up with my Copics for added interest.
Overall, I had a blast dusting off this old Stamp Anniething set and using it to create a fun Easter card. It just goes to show that sometimes, it’s worth looking back and giving some love to the stamp sets we may have overlooked from the past.
