Sharing a card featuring Pajama Crafter Stamps and celebrating World Fussy Cutting Day!
Featuring Pajama Crafter Stamps
πβ¨ Happy World Fussy Cutting Day! βοΈποΈ
Iβm excited to share a special card that highlights the magic of fussy cut stamped images! π
So grab some stamped images and a pair of scissors and let’s get crafting!
I started by using white pigment ink on Kraft colored cardstock, then heat embossed over the white ink with clear embossing powder. This technique created a beautiful look reminiscent of white royal icing on gingerbread cookies! πͺβ¨
To add a touch of warmth, I blended some walnut stain Distress Ink around the edges of the cut images from the “Baking Spirits Bright” stamp set, giving them that freshly baked cookie vibe. After that, I gently wiped away any excess distressed ink from the embossed images with a soft cloth for a neat finish.
Fussy cut images popped up on watercolor panel with foam tape for added dimension.

In todayβs fast-paced world, finding ways to unwind and de-stress is more important than ever. One of the most therapeutic activities you can embrace is craftingβspecifically, making handmade cards. Meet the Star of the Show: Pajama Crafter Stamps’ Sketched Florals – Roses Stamp and Die Bundle πΉ
One of my favorite tools for creating stunning cards is the Sketched Florals – Roses Stamp and Die Bundle from Pajama Crafter Stamps. This versatile set allows you to make beautiful floral designs that are perfect for any occasionβfrom birthdays to βjust becauseβ notes! The intricate details of the roses bring a touch of elegance to your cards, making them truly special.
Adding a Touch of Magic: Water Droplets with Crystal Glaze β¨
To elevate your card-making game, consider adding water droplets using crystal glaze. This simple technique adds depth and dimension, making your flowers look fresh and dewy. Hereβs how to do it:
Stamp and Color: Start by stamping your roses and coloring them with your favorite medium. Watercolors or Copic markers work beautifully!
Apply Crystal Glaze: Once your flowers are colored and dried, take your crystal glaze and gently apply small droplets over the areas where you want to create the illusion of water droplets. Use a fine-tip applicator for precision.
Let it Dry: Allow the glaze to dry completely. As it dries, it will create a glossy finish that looks just like real water droplets!
Assemble Your Card: Finally, assemble your card with your favorite embellishments and a heartfelt message stamped and popped up with dimensional foam tape.
The Gift of Connection π
After youβve created your stunning card, think about who in your life could use a little pick-me-up or a reason to celebrate. Whether itβs a friend going through a tough time or a loved one achieving a milestone, your handmade card can make a world of difference. Itβs a tangible reminder that someone cares, and sometimes, thatβs just what someone needs to turn their day around.

Happy Easter card featuring Stamp Anniething classic: For Peeps Sake
Dusting off old stamp sets always brings about a wave of creativity and nostalgia. With Easter fast approaching, I decided to take out an older stamp set from Stamp Anniething called “For Peeps Sake”. This set was released before the immensely popular Chibi line but still has the same cute and fun aesthetic that Stamp Anniething is known for.
I started by stamping the bunny in the grass, bunny holding Easter egg and basket, carrot, egg, flowerpot and chick from the set onto white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then colored them in with Copic markers, sticking to a soft pastel color palette to keep with the Easter theme. I also used a white gel pen to add some highlights and details to the images. I fussy cut the images and also removed the flowerpot from the flowers do I could embellish the sentiment a bit by popping flowers and sentiment up with double-sided foam tape.
For Peeps Sake by Stamp Anniething
For the background, I wanted to create a simple and whimsical scene. I used Distress Oxide inks in shades of blue and green to blend a sky and grass background, respectively. I also added some clouds using the clouds builder stencil by incorporating some white pigment ink. I used the grass builder stencil and ink blended in green on the bottom half of the card front. The background panel was cut from specialty paper called GEMINIO PAPER, a glossy paper that is not quite Yupo, but close. It stands up to dome fun ink and watercolor techniques and doesn’t warp or pill.
To finish off the card, I stamped a sentiment from the set onto a strip of extra ink-blended Geminino paper and this will be adhered to the top left hand corner over a banner I made using the carrot stamp and coloring up with my Copics for added interest.
Overall, I had a blast dusting off this old Stamp Anniething set and using it to create a fun Easter card. It just goes to show that sometimes, it’s worth looking back and giving some love to the stamp sets we may have overlooked from the past. Now go find a TREASURE from your stash and share what you make! Happy Crafting!
In case you haven’t heard it today, you are incredible and you matter!
This card features a 2×3 stamp set that was one of the Stamps of the Month. You can see the entire set below.
Available at Brutus Monroe for $4.99
I used a stamp positioner and the Wreath Builder Stencil from Gina K Designs to create the wreath with chick images and a smaller heart stamp to create the front of my card panel.
Images stamped on Aqua Pigment Watercolor Paper and Glossy Accents added to hearts for added interest
I used a rainbow pattern of aqua pigments and colored the images as you would watercolor. I used red to color all the hearts. Once dried, I added a small amount of glossy accents to each of the hearts for added shine and dimension.
Aqua Pigments are very versatile and come in a variety of colors.
To finish my card, I matted several layers and heat embossed my sentiment on a circle punch using black glitter card stock for added interest.
Measurement of my finished card is 5.5 in x 5.5 in square.
Watercolor panel – 4.25 in x 4.25 in
Black Matt – 4 3/8 in x 4 3/8 in
Red Matt – 5 in x 5 in
Black Matt – 5 3/8 in x 5 3/8 in
Red Card Base- 5.5 in x 5.5 in (I glue a piece of lightweight white card stock or copy paper slightly smaller and adhere only at the top so you can write your message easily inside when using darker card bases.
Sentiment heat embossed with Alabaster White on black glitter card stock and matted with red to coordinate with the other layers.
