Scrappy Boy Stamps’ August 2025 Release Inspration

Hello, crafty friends! 🎉

I’m thrilled to share my recent card creations using products from Scrappy Boy Stamps’ August release! Each project showcases a unique theme that I can’t wait for you to see!

featuring TRICKSTER GHOST

🦇 Fun Fold Card Inspired by a Cult Classic

First up, I created a fun fold card inspired by a quirky underworld couple from a beloved movie. This card is perfect for Halloween lovers! With enchanting pattern papers and a main character that brings a smile, it’s a delightful addition to any Halloween celebration. 👻💀

Creating a Z-fold card in A2 size is simple and fun! Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 4.25” x 11” and score it at 2.75” and 5.5” along the long side. Fold the cardstock in half at the 5.5” score line, creating the first ‘Z’ fold. Then, take the smaller section and fold it back on itself at the 2.75” score line. This will give you a card that opens in a zigzag manner. Decorate each panel as desired, and you’ll have a beautiful Z-fold card perfect for any occasion! Happy crafting!

FEATURING: Cute Kids Detectives

🔍 Crafty Twist on a Favorite Show

Next, I took inspiration from a show I adore, where amateur sleuths navigate mysteries in their fancy apartment building. This time, there’s a twist—my characters are all crafters! 🎨✂️ I’ve customized each character image with specific colors to make them instantly recognizable, and added crafty elements from the “Crafting Tools Die Set Add-On Craft Cart.”

Crafting inspiration can come from the smallest details! By layering cardstock and utilizing elements from your stash, like the crafty elements from the add-on set for the craft cart, you can beautifully tie your design together and add depth. I also love to create custom sentiments using my printer, which I cut out and pop up with dimensional foam tape for added interest. One of my favorite aspects of the Scrappy Boy line is how it mimics the images in the coordinating pattern paper, creating miniature versions that are perfect for fussy cutting. Incorporating these into my scenes brings an extra layer of creativity to my projects!

FEATURING: Magnifying Glass Die

🎡 Whimsical SHAKER Mouse Wand

Lastly, I’m excited to introduce the new standalone Magnifying Glass Die that coordinates with the Cute Kids Detective Set! Instead of a standard magnifying glass, I paired it with fun theme park elements and colorful papers, creating a whimsical SHAKER mouse wand. 🎈🐭 I even made some shaker bits using coordinating cardstock and shaker cover plate dies to add that extra flair! The zipper pull mouse hand die creates a fun “dangle” on the SHAKER wand.

I’m excited to share how I transformed the magnifying glass into a theme park-inspired shaker wand! Many of the elements released are perfectly sized to layer with other items in your stash, so don’t hesitate to mix and match or get creative with die cuts—even using the negative space they leave behind. I love the fun new spin I was able to give the magnifying glass, especially with the addition of a dangle made from a zipper pull mouse hand die on the handle! Inside the shaker, I filled it with confetti and cut pieces from a cover plate die, creating shaker bits that perfectly match my project. How fun is it to elevate your creations this way? Celebrating Memorial Day with Creativity: A Versatile Spin on the Mad Hatter Card Die Set

As we celebrate Memorial Day, I’m excited to showcase two unique card projects that highlight the versatility of the Mad Hatter card die set from Scrappy Boy Stamps. While this die was originally designed for whimsical, themed projects inspired by the tale of the “Mad Hatter”, I decided to take a different approach and customize it for today’s patriotic holiday.

    Project 1: Patriotic Themed Card

A mash up between Scrappy Boy & Pajama Crafter Stamps

For my first project, I focused on a vibrant red, white, and blue palette to create a heartfelt card honoring our fallen heroes. By changing up the colors and incorporating relevant embellishments, I transformed the Mad Hatter die into something truly special for this occasion. The combination of thoughtful design and color allowed me to create a meaningful tribute that resonates with the spirit of Memorial Day.

Project 2: Celebrating Birthdays with Pinup Girls

Scrappy Boy Old meets New Release

In contrast, my second project features the same Mad Hatter die set, but this time paired with the brand-new Pinup Girls Birthday set that was released earlier this week. By simply adjusting the colors and the sentiment, I was able to create a fun and festive birthday card! This demonstrates just how adaptable these products can be, allowing for endless creative possibilities.

The beauty of crafting lies in the ability to innovate and personalize your projects. With a little imagination, you can repurpose any die set to fit a specific occasion or theme, proving that your creativity is your only limitation.

I hope my projects inspire you to think outside the box and explore new ways to utilize your crafting supplies!

Happy crafting, and enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day!

This release includes four fabulous lines: We’re Not Alone, Aliens Landed in Roswell, Cute Kids Playground, and a wonderful variety of card making and scrapbooking dies. Let’s check out some creative ideas for three card designs you can create with these new goodies!

    1. I Want To Believe Slimline Card 🚀

I did a mash up of Aliens Landed in Roswell with We’re Not Alone to create a whimsical card showcasing one of the cutest aliens! Start with a dusky/starry night background using vibrant colors, then use the coordinating stamps and dies to bring your alien friend and beloved characters to life. For my card, I added an action wobbler to add movement and interest. Don’t forget to complete your card with a fun sentiment like “I WANT TO BELIEVE” to tie everything together!

    2. Playground Fun Card 🎡

Using the Cute Kids Playground set, I crafted an adorable scene that captures childhood joy. To make your own, use the playground-themed stamps to create a colorful layout of kids playing on swings and slides. My card features a fun elephant slide. I layered several different coordinating patterned papers from the 6×6 paper pack in cheerful colors for that extra pop!

    3. Rocking Horse Shaped Card🌌

Using the new Rocking Horse Mini Album Die, I created a shaped card. Use for scrapbook elements OR as it’s intended use, a mini photo album die. I cut all elements in white for ease and then use my Copic markers or Distress Inks to create additional colors. If you look closely, you might see that I ran some elements through my Big Shot die-cutting machine with a fun embossing folder. You can also use up your scraps! Have fun!

Have A Beary Sweet Birthday featuring Stamp Anniething

Card features Build A Caring Bear
Limited Edition Set by Stamp Anniething

The art of gift-giving isn’t just about what’s inside the box. Adding a personal touch to your greeting card can make all the difference, especially when it’s for someone very special. That’s why I’m excited to share with you this really cute new set from Stamp Anniething that can be customized for any occasion and recipient.

Image is DISTORTED on purpose to prevent theft

I created a birthday card using the Build A Caring Bear set, as well as patterned paper from the SUMMER TROPICS pack as a background. So, let’s dive in and see how to make this versatile square card.

The first thing you’ll need is a 5 1/4 in square card base. This size will provide enough space to showcase your creativity while still being efficient enough to mail. Next, you’re going to create your characters using the Build A Caring Bear set. The great thing about this set is that you can mix and match the different elements like faces, arms and belly tag to create your unique bear. I decided to go with a Happy Cupcake Bear because I wanted to create a festive and colorful birthday card.

Once I BUILT my bear, I started creating a fun birthday scene. To do this, I downloaded a free digital image that coordinated with the image on my bear’s belly. It’s easy to do and it provides a great way to add a personal touch to your card. I went with a cupcake!

Free Digital Image – unknown source, so sorry

I wanted to create texture on the card, so I used patterned paper from the SUMMER TROPICS pack to make the background. The bright colors and versatile patterns are perfect for a celebration and it compliments the bear image well. I cut a total of four (4) two-and-a-quarter inch squares and a 2 1/2 inch square in white and a 2 3/4 inch square in black to frame and then place in center on the diagonal using double-sided foam tape. I had a small square scrap I added from the Pets Grab & Go Box (no longer available), that I added to the center of the square.

    6×6 paper pack – 24 pages

Finally, I added a sentiment to the top right of the card, wishing the recipient a BEARY sweet birthday. It’s simple, but heartfelt, and it ties everything together nicely. Added some Enamel Dots from Stamp Anniething to repeat the pops of color in a triangular pattern, to draw your rye from the sentiment to the cherry on the cupcake and back to the sentiment again.

Build A Caring Bear Birthday Card

In conclusion, with little effort, anyone can make a sweet, personalized birthday card using the Build A Caring Bear set and Summer Tropics patterned paper. You can change the occasion, color scheme or even switch out the face, belly badge and arm positions to create a unique design tailored to whomever you’re giving it to. It’s a thoughtful gesture that shows you care, and the recipient will surely appreciate the time and effort put into it. Happy creating!
